ohhh I REALLY like the creature you created here!!! the little hints that something wasn’t quite right with Jay from when they first met. I do love a good bit of foreshadowing and you did it quite well! to be honest though I think the reveal would have hit even harder if you hadn’t put jay’s name in quotes at the top because that kinda gave it away 😭 the reveal was still excellent though!
for me it was less about the sex (although yes, tentacles very hot) and more about the lore of the creature we don’t see that really hit right for me. it reminded me just slightly of the Stephen king book “desperation” which also features an entity (in this case it’s more of an incorporeal spirit though) that inhabits a person’s body after killing them, but the bodies only last so long and start to show visible signs like bleeding etc (at one point it coughs up a tooth or something) and then it’s like oops better kill another person and enter a new body!!
the creature here seems more to switch out of a sense of enjoyment for killing and wearing different skin for fun and I really like that 💀 when it reveals itself, shedding jay’s skin like clothes and all the tentacles spreading out was soooo perfect 10/10 👌 I could see it in my head perfectly.
I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS THOUGH like what’s its purpose for becoming famous musicians specifically? I assume it wants to be in the spotlight for some purpose, maybe it lays eggs or some other kind of breeding? maybe there are others of its kind so it’s seeking out more vessels?? does it only choose men and not women, perhaps for physical strength? does it have to um… penetrate its victims in order to possess it or is that part just for fun? 💀 does it absorb the memories of the host? (I only had that particular thought because it seemed to know Danny was a good victim since he’s not only into guys but apparently a lowkey dick addict 💀💀💀)

anyway of course the act itself was pretty damn hot, I am a bit weak for multiple appendages doing multiple things to a person at once 😳😳 I don’t normally enjoy sounding but here I thought it worked really well! I’m canon blind on Danny but I liked how he reacted differently to other characters you’ve written being nonconned/otherwise harmed in a /sx way by creatures like this (I thought of cpk, foolish, and owen in previous fics who all seemed some levels of terrified even if they kinda also enjoyed it in some level) but nah this guys like ok sign me up idk what you are and what you plan on doing but you’re sticking something big and thick in my ass and I’m here for it AND YK WHAT THATS EXTREMELY VALID I support him on that
anyways sorry for the long and rambly comment I very much enjoyed this fic despite not knowing the characters much at all and I would love to see you do more with shapeshifting creatures like this 😍 it is not a want but a need /nf
